8x8 is a publicly traded company in north San Jose. We are seeking a smart, driven marketing leader who loves to drive the demand generation engine for a fast growing company. You should have a firm grasp of the art and science behind brand and marketing. You will be responsible for developing integrated campaigns strategies to support customer acquisition through lead generation and qualification. You will generate creative campaigns, define an integrated marketing program, and drive all activities needed to execute. This is an exciting rote where you'll need data and analysis chops, excellent communication skills and executive presence, and a strong desire to develop and execute marketing plans to help 8x8 grow and achieve its revenue goals.
The role will report to the Vice President, Marketing
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead our demand generation planning efforts, including the overall strategy, producing new and nurtured lead generation goals and forecasts, setting the budget spend priorities, and measuring overall results against plans
- Develop campaign strategies that leverage the full scope of marketing programs, including online, tradeshow and CIO events, email nurturing programs, telemarketing, advertising and more
- Work with a cross-functional team to develop targeted content assets
- Manage the lead qualification process using predictive lead scoring and managing a Sales/Lead Development Team refine end-to-end campaign and lead management processes
- Own the conceptualization of demand creation, nurturing and scoring strategy (explicit and implicit scoring techniques to prioritize leads for the sales teams)
- Systematically monitor and analyze performance against lead and other marketing goals and over past performance and continually drive Marketing ROI to optimize program and ongoing growth, looking for areas for additional investment in time and money
- Ensure 8x8 campaigns are creative, compelling, carry a consistent message, and amplify the brand
- Collaborate with Strategy and Product marketing to develop the right overall integrated campaign strategy and plans. This includes key marketing themes, messages, offers and mediums for promotions throughout the year
- Manage the team of Lead Generation Managers and the Sales Development Representatives. This is an exciting and growing team and will serve as the hub for Marketing & Sales opportunities that drive new revenue
- Strong strategic thinking, tying lead generation activities to overall company go-to-market strategy
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in lead generation and demand creation in high tech
- Prior demand generation experience targeting mid-market/enterprise companies in the software or SAAS industries
- Strong business and marketing acumen and results oriented
- Highly knowledgeable about marketing automation systems (preferable Marketo)
- Experience partnering with Sales on pipeline development
- Highly self-motivated contributor with proven track record of results
- Personal drive to push your career forward
