Key Responsibility Areas:
• Interpreting strategic implementation frameworks and alignment processes.
• Manages the process of consulting, advising and formulating the Directorates capital financial indicators / provisions.
• Provides advise / information and guidance on the principles, procedures and applications to project teams on the conceptual, analytical, interactive, investigative and reporting requirements in relation to complex housing projects.
• Guides critical development and decision-making processes in respect of the complex arrangements involved in strategic housing infrastructure projects.
• Directs critical processes to integrate the management and reporting of strategic infrastructure project information.
• Discharges responsibilities related to the function of Unit Risk Management Champion.
• Engages on critical policy formulation and / or the review process of current directional guidelines relating to strategic project management.
• Directs and controls the implementation and monitoring of complex fiscal and government project management processes.
• Prepares and disseminates information to strategic management functions on the status and / or requirements relating to approved unit programmes.
• Controls and executes actions to address administrative and reporting requirements associated with the key performance and result indicators of the functionality.

Essential Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in the Built Environment or any other related and equivalent qualification.
• Valid motor vehicle driving license.
• 8 years relevant experience at a management level of which at least 3 years must be at a senior management level.
Preferred Requirements:
• Postgraduate qualification (NQF Level 8) in the Built Environment or any other related and equivalent qualification.
• 9 years relevant experience at a management level of which at least 4 years must be at a senior management level.
