Compensation Overview:
- The starting hourly wage for this role is $26.57/hr to $26.57/hr.
- Shift Premium of $1.00/hr on 3rd shift.
- Hourly Bonus Program
Responsibilities:
- Perform all related activities for spotting and shuttling trailers on and around the Champaign Complex
- Responsible for wearing proper PPE, compliance of safety training, policy & procedures and report any unsafe safety conditions to a Supervisor/Management.
- Participate in the KHMS audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions regarding all spotting and shuttling activities.
- The employee may lift up to 50 pounds in temperatures ranging from 0° to 110°.
- Learning all distribution's major job functions including loading/unloading,
- Spotting semi-trailers and acting as a cross-town shuttle driver.
- The employee will be required to use a computerized menu driven yard management system and operate material handling equipment.
- Driver must have a valid Class A CDL and must disclose any history of previous CDL driving violations.
- DOT Medical Card required.
- Two years verifiable Class A commercial driving experience.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
