To define job responsibilitiesJob Description:
Responsibilities
- Audit manufacturing processes to ensure they’re running as designed:
Complete standardized audit form
Ensure required gauging is in place, clean, with calibration stickers applied with acceptable dates
Ensure required checksheets are complete
Ensure parts are conforming and correct data is being recorded in PlexMeasure parts as necessary
Ensure workplaces and gauge tables are clean, organized, and 5S is complete
Ensure all containers and parts are properly tagged and identifiedAddress any parts on the floor, tables, cabinets, tool boxes, etc.
Ensure hourly pull boards are being used
- Data entry (Final Audit, etc.)
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
- Effectively communicates with Manufacturing and other departments as required regarding inspection results
- Effectively communicates within the QA department
- As directed by the Quality Group Leader or Quality Manager
Required Skills and Education
Qualification Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience
- Working knowledge of Windows PC with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
- Basic GD&T knowledge
- Measuring devices (CMM, optical comparator, other handheld measuring devices)
- Basic metallurgy
