We’re looking for an experienced 2D Artist to help shape the visual identity of our Innovation Lab titles and drive artistic excellence across our projects. This is a hands-on role where you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality assets, contribute to visual strategy, and push the boundaries of what's possible in casual game art.
You’ll be expected to take ownership of feature delivery, provide art direction across internal and external contributors, and contribute to both gameplay visuals and UI design—ensuring every player-facing element meets our high standards for polish and performance.
You’ll also work with generative AI tools to prototype ideas, accelerate workflows, and explore new creative possibilities as we continue to innovate in how we build and scale content.
Work mode: hybrid – 3 days per week from the Wave Office in Gdansk.

What You’ll Do
Create best-in-class 2D game assets in line with project style and quality benchmarks
Own feature deliveries end-to-end, including planning, task tracking, and integration in Unity
Collaborate with Art Leads to define and document visual direction and style guides
Review internal and outsourced art, providing clear, actionable feedback
Contribute to UI design projects and visual systems, maintaining visual consistency and clarity
Partner with other departments to solve production challenges and brainstorm new features
Utilize generative AI to support concept development and production efficiency
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of industry experience on released mobile or casual game titles
A portfolio showcasing high-quality character, environment, and object design across multiple styles
Deep understanding of composition, color theory, lighting, and form
Proficiency in Photoshop and familiarity with 3D tools and Unity pipelines
Expirence working with Generative AI tools (Leonardo AI, GPT, Gemini)
Strong communication, organizational, and feedback skills
Experience mentoring or reviewing the work of other artists
Professional-level English and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
