ARSIEM is looking for a Systems Integration Engineer. This position will support one of our government clients in Ft. Meade, MD.
Responsibilities
- Actively manage enterprise computer systems and networks, analyzing technical issues, and developing and implementing corrective actions.
- Observe and interpret visual outputs indicating the operating status of systems and network components for designated computer network infrastructure.
- Translate user requests into technical diagnoses, then apply diagnoses to develop technical solutions to meet user needs.
- Develop strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture/technology with minimal impact.
- Evaluate new technologies or equipment that can be added to Agency standard solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Tier 1 certification.
- Must have experience in network or system administration. Strong Linux experience. Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management. Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.
- Experience setting up storage such as network‐attached storage.
- Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C.
Preferred Qualifications
- Desirable Skills: Experience deploying and maintaining nginx. Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite. Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT, and Ansible, as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana. Experience with SELinix and FIPS
Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
