What You’ll Do:
We are searching for an experienced Azure Application Architect to join our team.
The Azure Application Architect will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of the organization’s cloud-based systems and services. This will involve understanding our organization’s cloud needs, creating and implementing cloud systems, and overseeing their functionality.  Our ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of Azure and a solid understanding of network operations, software development, and information security.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Able to utilize cloud technologies (Azure) to develop, deploy, and manage scalable applications. Collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to optimize cloud-based application performance.
• Integrate and leverage generative AI tools to enhance application functionality, streamline workflows, and drive innovation.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills; listening and critical thinking; presentation skills, facilitation skills.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with stakeholders at all different levels.
• Flexibility during organizational and/or business changes.
• Effective problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Customer Service oriented.
• Ability to lead technical evaluations and conduct research & development in emerging technologies.

What You’ll Need:

• 8+ years of experience as a Cloud Applications Architect
• 5+ years of experience with Azure or similar platforms to include:
  • .NET experience, UI, back-end and Services
  • C# programming experience
  • Web Services
  • MS SQL programming experience
• Proven Experience Architecting (should be able to demonstrate participation/execution of architecture)
• This position is expected to read/create code for prototypes and lead
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field
