What You’ll Do:
Navitas is seeking a Project Manager with strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills to oversee project execution from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of project management principles, the ability to identify and mitigate risks, and the capability to manage cross-functional teams in collaboration with clients and delivery partners, including HCL.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables aligned with business and technical goals.
Identify project dependencies and critical paths; proactively monitor and address potential risks or delays.
Coordinate resources across internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure project scope is delivered on time and within budget.
Facilitate daily, weekly, and milestone-based communications with customers, stakeholders, and technical personnel.
Conduct financial planning, cost tracking, and project budget analysis to ensure financial accountability.
Prepare and deliver regular project status reports, highlighting progress, risks, and recommended actions.
Support continuous improvement by analyzing lessons learned and implementing process enhancements.
Apply consulting expertise to manage stakeholder expectations and adapt to changing priorities.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
1+ year of experience in project management or consulting.
Demonstrated understanding of:
Project planning and scheduling
Task management and resource coordination
Risk identification and mitigation strategies
Financial planning and reporting
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed, fast-paced environment.
Set Yourself Apart With:
Experience working with public sector clients or within large consulting environments.
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet).
Exposure to software development life cycle (SDLC) or agile project management methodologies.
PMP, CSM, or related certification (or actively pursuing).
