Job Objective:
Supports the management and compliance of CFR 192/195 Integrity Management Programs (IMP) for regulated pipeline assets across the L48 region, including Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico, North Dakota, and Texas.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Integrity Management & Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and jurisdictional integrity regulations (CFR 192/195) for pipeline assets.
    • Oversee the execution of the In-line Inspection (ILI) program, including segment identification, baseline assessments, and data analysis.
    • Manage integrity assessments by coordinating inspections and reviewing data to identify potential threats.
    • Develop inspection requirements and manage approved inspection/testing programs in line with industry standards (API RP 1163).
    • Evaluate and analyze ILI results to determine necessary repairs and assess remaining risks.
  • Risk Assessment & Mitigation:
    • Conduct risk assessments for pipeline segments.
    • Support the development and execution of Preventive and Mitigative Measures (P&MM) to reduce pipeline risks.
    • Ensure ongoing evaluation and monitoring of pipeline integrity, adapting strategies based on changing operational and environmental conditions.
  • Regulatory Support & Audits:
    • Assist in regulatory inspections and audits by reviewing program procedures and documentation.
    • Provide technical expertise during external audits to ensure compliance with integrity management requirements.
  • Corrosion Control & Repair:
    • Apply internal and external corrosion control measures to maintain pipeline integrity.
    • Recommend repair techniques based on integrity evaluations and industry best practices (API, ASME, AMPP).

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and protect company assets.
  • Travel up to 25% as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in pipeline integrity or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations, including CFR 192/195, and proven experience working with regulatory agencies.
  • Expertise in pipeline operational risk management and engineering practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software for pipeline data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education Requirements:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field from an accredited university.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Preferred: AMPP Cathodic Protection Certification
