About the Role

We at Innovaccer are looking for a Senior Staff Engineer (Applications) to build the most amazing product experience. You’ll get to work with other engineers to build delightful feature experiences to understand and solve our customer’s pain points.We are looking for a Staff Engineer with hands-on experience in building applications and services using Python.

A Day in the Life 

• You are able to develop and drive a high-level strategy, as well as to take a hands-on approach to implementing that strategy
• Building efficient and reusable applications and abstractions 
• Identify and communicate back-end best practices 
• Participate in the project life-cycle from pitch/prototyping through definition and design to build, integration, QA and delivery 
• Analyze and improve the performance, scalability, stability, and security of the product 
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
• Provide technical leadership and direction for software development projects. Define the architectural vision and strategy in alignment with business goals and mentor and guide development teams to ensure the successful implementation of solutions.
• Design and architect scalable, robust, and high-performance software solutions using Python and React and conduct architectural reviews and ensure compliance with technical standards.
• Conducting code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and staying updated with emerging technologies

What you will do 

• 8+ years of experience with a start-up mentality and high willingness to learn
• Expert in Python and experience with any web framework (Django, FastAPI, Flask etc) 
• UI/web development experience will be a plus. 
• Application architecture and solution design. Worked on large scale B2C/ B2B SaaS.
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skill 
• Expert in Kubernetes and containerization 
• Experience in RDBMS & NoSQL database such as Postgres, MongoDB, (any OLAP database is good to have) 
• Strong experience in cloud computing platforms like Amazon Web Services and Azure
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Computer Engineering
• Applied AI experience
