🧭 About Inallmedia.com Inallmedia.com is a global technology and design firm focused on building impactful digital solutions through remote, distributed teams across LATAM. We partner with international clients across industries, providing long-term technical expertise, product innovation, and team augmentation.
🚀 Project Overview You will join a high-scale enterprise digital platform within a global talent marketplace, focusing on recruitment technology and real-time candidate-client matching. This project centers on a Live Event Management Platform & Production Reliability Engineering. The engineering team maintains a high-traffic, live production platform powering virtual and in-person hiring events. Your primary goal is to maintain high system availability, rapidly resolve live event disruptions, and improve job-seeker and employer satisfaction ratings through proactive, full-stack production engineering.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
- Production Issue Triage & Engineering Support: Diagnose, triage, and resolve complex production incidents and client support requests across interconnected frontend and backend systems, with a focus on real-time hiring event performance.
- Service Level Agreement (SLA) Compliance: Partner directly with client-facing support and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to resolve high-priority system alerts and ticketing escalations within strict SLAs.
- System Monitoring & Incident Response: Monitor production health dashboards and respond rapidly to system outages, latency degradation, or feature failures ("going red").
- Full-Stack & Event-Driven Feature Engineering: Maintain, update, and refactor event logic across Java/Spring Boot microservices, Python/Django services, and React user interfaces.
- Data Lake & Analytics Troubleshooting: Leverage distributed data workflows, queries, and analytics tools (e.g., Dagster, Amazon Athena, Data Lakes) to perform root-cause analysis on production issues.
- Deployment & CI/CD Pipeline Execution: Independently manage code build, merge, and deployment pipelines to ship hotfixes and platform updates safely into production.
- Architecture Maintenance & Onboarding: Support system integrations and architectural updates impacting live event services, while mentoring and onboarding newly added engineering team members.
💡 Must-Have Skills (Note: For this specific role, all listed criteria are strictly required)
- Software Engineering Experience: 3–5 years of professional software development experience in full-stack or backend engineering environments.
- Core Backend Stack (Java/Spring Boot): Senior-level experience with Java and Spring Boot as the primary backend skill set for managing event microservices and real-time lobby systems.
- Secondary Backend Stack (Python/Django): Hands-on experience with Python and Django for supporting platform web services and backend APIs.
- Frontend Web Development: Proficiency with React for client-facing event management, virtual lobby, and user onboarding interfaces.
- Event-Driven Messaging & APIs: Production experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven messaging architectures and GraphQL for backend/lobby API layers.
- Database & Data Pipeline Technologies: Strong SQL or MongoDB database experience, alongside practical exposure to at least one data pipeline/query technology: Dagster, Data Lakes, or Amazon Athena.
- Cross-Functional Product Coordination: Prior experience collaborating with Product Managers and GTM teams to prioritize technical backlogs and client requests.
- Data-Driven Incident Resolution: Strong analytical skills using log analytics and system metrics to troubleshoot production edge cases.
- AI-Assisted Engineering: Hands-on experience using AI development tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Windsurf) to accelerate debugging and code iteration.
- Build & Deployment Operations: Hands-on experience with build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and autonomous production deployment processes.
- Autonomy & Seniority: Senior-level capability to ramp up rapidly, take complete end-to-end ownership of tasks, and navigate ambiguous technical issues without close supervision.
- AWS WorkSpace Requirement: This role requires the use of a client-provisioned AWS WorkSpace. Candidates must demonstrate good connectivity to an AWS WorkSpace region by completing the connectivity test at https://clients.amazonworkspaces.com/Health. Please note: You will be required to submit a screenshot of these results as supporting evidence with your application.
