The Kuchu’s Waitstaff Associate is responsible for delivering attentive, courteous, and efficient food and beverage service to guests while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment. This role supports all aspects of the dining experience, from table preparation and order service to guest engagement, ensuring service standards are consistently met. Success in this role is demonstrated by providing prompt, friendly service, anticipating guest needs, and contributing to a positive dining experience that encourages guest return visits.
Kuchu’s restaurant employees (both front-of-house and back-of-house) are expected to work on their feet for extended periods—often 8 hours or more—while walking, standing, lifting, bending, or carrying food, dishes, trays, or supplies. Employees must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and navigate fast-paced, crowded environments such as the kitchen, dish area, and dining room. Temperatures may vary between hot kitchen spaces and cooler storage or prep areas.
Mentally, team members must remain focused, composed, and guest-oriented. Employees should be able to follow health and safety protocols, adapt to changing priorities, and work collaboratively across shifts. All Kuchu’s staff are expected to demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing consistent and high-quality service in a busy, guest-centered setting.
The ideal candidate should be able to fulfill all physical and mental aspects of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
