You need to have:
- Examples of data journalism you have worked on. Do not submit with your application. We will ask for them during initial screening.
- Experience with Excel or Google Sheets is required. Experience with R or Python is preferred.
- A drive to produce great reporting.
- Willingness to collaborate with our team of reporters and editors.
- At the start of Summer 2027, have completed at least three years of an undergraduate program (i.e., a rising senior), have just graduated from your college or university, or be enrolled in a graduate journalism program.
- Prior training or experience in data journalism.
- Ability to work within a team under deadline pressure.
