Description
As an Operations Sales Specialist Intern, you will gain hands-on experience at the intersection of agronomy operations and customer-facing sales support. This role is designed for students who want a broader view of how production agriculture works—from day-to-day operations at the location level to supporting sales conversations and customer service.
You will be embedded at a Midwest Fertilizer location, working alongside operations and sales professionals to support farmer/owners and help deliver products and services that contribute to a safe, reliable food supply.
What You’ll Learn & Experience- Exposure to agronomy operations, including fertilizer handling, plant operations, and safety practices
- Support of sales and service activities, including customer interactions and product/service coordination
- Understanding how agronomy recommendations, logistics, and customer relationships come together
- Participation in location-based projects focused on customer service, safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement
- Insight into how MKC serves its farmer/owners and end users across the agronomy value chain

Applicants must have housing or be able to acquire housing on their own in proximity to the location prior to their start date.
