Job Description

We are looking for a Sales & Operations Development Program Associate to join our Rexel, USA team starting in June of 2027!  This role is available in Houston, TX, Dallas, TX, San Antonio, TX, Oklahoma City, OK, and Tulsa, OK

 

Summary:
The Sales and Operations Development Program offers a 12-month Accelerated Commercial Experience (ACE) that provides associates with a fast-tracked opportunity, early in their career, to gain broad exposure within the Electrical Distribution industry. This rotational program provides hands-on exposure to the people, products, customers, and operations that power Rexel’s business. Through meaningful assignments, cross-functional projects, structured training, and mentorship, ACE Trainees develop the commercial, operational, and leadership skills needed to make an impact from day one. Participants gain broad experience across the business while exploring career paths aligned with their strengths and interests. Upon successful completion of the program, ACE Trainees may pursue opportunities in sales, operations, project management, procurement, marketing, future leadership, and other key areas of the organization.

What You'll Do:

As an ACE Trainee, you will complete a series of rotations designed to build your business knowledge, professional capabilities, and understanding of the electrical distribution industry. You will work alongside experienced Rexel leaders and team members, contribute to real business priorities, and develop relationships across functions

Rotations Include:

  • Warehouse & Logistics: Learn the full-cycle supply chain processes behind storing and moving materials, including order fulfillment, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping
  • Sales: Gain experience in counter, inside, and outside sales. Build customer service, product knowledge, selling, and digital tool skills
  • Operations: Understand the business drivers that influence safety, profitability, facility maintenance, inventory, working capital, and customer service. Use available data and tools to support sound business decisions
  • Project Management: Manage customer, sales, and vendor relationships; place orders; track shipments; coordinate billing; and maintain clear, timely communication throughout the project. Learn to review bid packages and prepare project quotations

Elective Rotations:

Toward the end of the program, ACE Trainees can tailor their experience through elective rotations based on individual interests, career goals, and local business opportunities. Elective opportunities may include:

  • Returning to a previous rotation for deeper experience.
  • Product Specialist rotations in areas such as Automation, Lighting, Gear, Datacom, or Services.
  • A customized rotation developed with local leadership

Qualifications

What You'll Need

  • High School or GED - Required
  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, Business, or related degree preferred

External Candidates:

  • With a bachelor’s degree, a minimum 3.0 GPA upon graduation is required
  • 0-1 years of experience in a service, business, or sales-oriented role
  • Relevant internship/co-op experience preferred
  • Equivalent military or industry-related experience considered

Internal Candidates:

  • Less than 12 months of experience with Rexel
  • In good performance standing
