Northrop Grumman is seeking a Project Management Intern for an internship opportunity. This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in Huntsville, AL.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Global C2 Solutions Business Unit’s Business Operations and Strategic Growth team.
Basic Qualifications
A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
- Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2027.
- Be majoring in Project Management, Engineering Management, Industrial/Systems Engineering, Business Management or related field
- Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
- Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
- Experience with data analytics and/or project management
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
- Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, or other data visualization software programs
- Experience with project management tools (i.e. Jira, Confluence, MS Planner, MS Project)
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans
At Northrop Grumman, our internship pay rates are standardized and take into account three main factors: the anticipated graduation date of the individual, the cost of labor of the geographic location, and whether the internship is considered technical or administrative.
Intern Pay Range:
- Bachelors: $22.75- $27.50 per hour
- Masters: $32.75- $34.50 per hour
