Lamar Johnson Collaborative (LJC) is looking to hire interns to join our teams in Chicago, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and St. Louis.

What You Will Be Doing
- Perform various elements of the project design process as directed, including conceptual studies, program requirements, systems selection and layout
- Participate in preparation of programming, schematic design, design development and construction documents as project opportunities allow
- Contribute to preparation of marketing and presentation materials
- Engage experiential and other internship learning opportunities to develop skills necessary to grow and enhance the academic experience when returned to school
Requirements
- Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate design program or related field, ideally at a university with an accredited-degree program
- Demonstrated competence with computer-based drafting tools and MS Office
- Strong English-language communication skills (written and oral)
- Presentation of a resume and/or portfolio demonstrating design and technical capabilities
Ideal Skill Set
- Knowledge of design principles and standards
- Experience with Revit, Enscape or Adobe Creative Suite desired
- Advanced presentation and communication skills
- Ability to self-manage workload and multiple deadlines
Compensation
- Intern Hourly Pay Range: $21.00-$25.00 per hour based on expected college graduation month/year.
