Job Description

Embark on an exciting 12-month adventure with our graduate program, where you'll jump straight into real-world environments and play a hands-on role in projects at the forefront of the industry. This program provides you with a strong foundation in consulting and a deep dive into the sectors we serve. Through structured learning, personalised mentoring, interactive e-learning pathways and regular feedback, you’ll have the opportunity to build your confidence, develop your consulting toolkit and kickstart your career with us.

You will join Scyne’s Commercial, Finance and Infrastructure practice as a Graduate in our Strategic Performance Improvement team. Our team works with clients to address complex strategic, operational and financial challenges, helping organisations improve performance and create sustainable value.

You’ll work alongside experienced consultants and senior client leaders across a range of sectors, supporting engagements spanning strategy development, performance improvement, operating model design and organisational transformation.

Your Role: Making an Impact from Day One

As a Graduate in our Strategic Performance Improvement team, you won’t be sitting on the sidelines. You’ll dive straight into real-world projects that shape Australian organisations and public-purpose outcomes.

Day to day, you’ll:

  • Support strategic and operational reviews by undertaking research, data analysis, benchmarking and financial analysis to identify key insights and opportunities.
  • Analyse organisational performance to help identify opportunities to improve revenue, reduce costs, increase productivity and strengthen financial sustainability.
  • Support the development of strategies and recommendations that help clients address complex organisational and commercial challenges.
  • Contribute to operating model and organisational design engagements by analysing structures, processes, governance, capabilities and service delivery arrangements.
  • Help translate analysis and insights into clear recommendations, business cases, presentations and practical implementation roadmaps.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Contribute to proposals, business development activities and internal initiatives that support the continued growth of the Strategic Performance Improvement team.

As a growing professional in Strategic Performance Improvement, you’ll:

  • Develop your strategic, commercial and financial acumen while building a strong foundation in consulting.
  • Learn how to structure complex problems, undertake rigorous analysis and translate findings into practical recommendations for clients.
  • Build your capability in financial analysis, data analysis, benchmarking and the development of evidence-based insights.
  • Gain exposure to senior executives and decision-makers across a range of industries and complex organisations.
  • Develop an understanding of how strategy, organisational design, operations and financial performance come together to drive sustainable organisational outcomes.
  • Build your communication and stakeholder engagement skills by contributing to workshops, presentations and client discussions.
  • Work alongside experienced team members who will support your development through coaching, feedback and hands-on project experience.

Qualifications

To be eligible to apply you need to:

  • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Have completed or be completing a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Commence or Engineering in either 2025 or 2026
  • Prior working experience in Strategy / Consulting related roles, internships or placements would be highly regarded
  • Be able to commence in March 2027.
