Job Summary:
We are seeking highly motivated emerging talent to participate in a 10-week immersive internship program from June 8, 2026, to August 14, 2026. This program offers university and graduate students hands-on experience through project-based work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Throughout the program, Interns will have exposure to mentorship, networking, and professional development opportunities.
This Intern will be involved in developing a material packaging, loading, and unloading plan for a medium-sized chemical production facility.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on packaging moisture- and UV-sensitive material in a less-than-ideal environment
- Develop metrics to balance schedule and line loading in a complex production environment
- Manage a budget, communicate with vendors, and define a purchasing plan
- Present and explain their plan to a team of engineers and technicians, and incorporate their feedback to fulfill their vision
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics; junior or senior standing by fall 2026
- Strong interest in logistics and supply chain
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to travel for in-person orientation and program kickoff as well as for final presentation at program completion
Preferences:
- Previous internship, coursework, or project experience
Hourly Pay Range: $23.50-$30.00 per hour
*Hourly rate determined by academic year, college major, line of business, geography
