This internship sits at the intersection of Recovery Operations, vendor management, and project execution. The role supports initiatives tied to loan placements and debt sales, working closely with internal stakeholders, external suppliers and technology partners.
This person will be embedded in active workstreams and expected to help drive coordination, visibility, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support recurring and ad hoc meetings with:
- Equabli (technical partner)
- Debt buyers and external collection vendors
- Internal stakeholders across Operations, Technology, and Product
- Own meeting logistics: scheduling, agendas, and follow-ups
- Capture clear, actionable meeting notes and distribute structured meeting minutes
- Track action items, risks, and dependencies across multiple initiatives
- Follow up with stakeholders to ensure progress against commitments
- Provide regular status updates and progress summaries to leadership
- Assist in managing timelines related to loan placement and recovery initiatives
- Support documentation of operational processes tied to recovery workflows
- Build process maps / flow diagrams to visualize current and future state operations
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or breakdowns in coordination and escalate appropriately

- Action items don’t stall—stakeholders are held accountable
- Leadership has visibility into progress without needing to chase updates
- Process documentation is clear, usable, and improves team execution
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Operations, or related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and external partners
- High attention to detail, especially in documentation and follow-up
- Self-starter mindset; able to operate with minimal oversight
Preferred (Not Required)
- Exposure to project management concepts or tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet)
- Interest in fintech, collections, or recovery operations
- Experience building process maps (Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, etc.)
