Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. (HYMH), a global manufacturer of industrial forklift trucks, is currently accepting applications for the Summer 2026 Internship Program. This internship is designed specifically for Business Administration students who are eager to gain practical experience by actively participating in real-world projects throughout the organization. We are looking for candidates with excellent communication abilities and a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.

What you could do:

  • Support project management activities by coordinating tasks, monitoring deadlines, and helping optimize team workflows

  • Assist with business operations, including data entry and document management

  • Help schedule meetings, track project progress, and prepare reports

  • Conduct research and provide analysis to support decision-making

  • Collaborate with team members and participate in discussions

  • Maintain records and ensure compliance with company policies

What you will need:

  • Enrollment in a bachelor's program focused on one of the below:

    • Business Administration

    • Business Analytics

    • Management

    • Economics

    • Equivalent programs will also be considered

  • Demonstrated proficiency in verbal, written, and interpersonal communication

  • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Drive to learn and strong commitment to embracing emerging business technologies and tools

What you will participate in:

Alongside hands-on experience in their specific functional areas, interns are required to complete roughly 20 program hours. This involves participation in:

  • Professional Development Courses: Interns will have access to a wide variety of training videos and courses, with encouragement to complete modules that support their growth.

  • Career Coaching Sessions: Interns can connect one-on-one with members of the HYMH Talent Acquisition team for personalized career coaching and guidance.

  • Business Acumen Sessions: A series of sessions focused on building company knowledge and supporting personal and professional development.

  • Networking Events: Opportunities to connect with fellow interns and company leadership through both in-person and virtual events.

  • Site Tours: Interns will have the chance to tour different company locations to broaden their understanding of the business and explore potential career paths.

  • Final Experience Presentation: At the end of the program, interns will present their experience to peers and leaders across the Americas division, providing valuable exposure and reflection.
