Northrop Grumman is seeking Program Cost and Schedule Control Analysts . This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in Elkton, MD.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Propulsion Systems & Control Business Unit within the Weapon Systems Division.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Develop, maintain, and deliver a monthly Integrated Master Plan and Schedule (IMP/IMS) from inception through project completion, ensuring alignment with IMS objectives.
- Integrating Work Breakdown Structures, Statements of Work, deliverables, and resources into the master schedule efficiently and on time.
- Support management of the program’s supplier base and internal functional disciplines through the IMS, providing daily monitoring and status updates to the Project Manager for critical‑path tasks.
- Inputting Earned Value Management System (EVMS) data and generating required financial control reports, preparing monthly operational review packages, and assisting in the reporting of division performance to executive management.
- Investigate any deviations from the plan or unusual results, and will actively participate in, lead, and support schedule reviews and metric reporting as requested by management.
This requisition may be filled at either a level 1 or a level 2.
Basic qualifications for a Level 1 are a Bachelor’s Degree.
Basic qualifications for a Level 2 are a Master’s Degree.

- Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution by August 2026
- Be majoring in or having majored in Business, Finance, or related disciplines. Some STEM degrees may be considered.
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
- Experience or coursework in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
- Experience or coursework in Microsoft Project or Open Plan
- Experience or coursework in data analytics
- Experience or coursework in data entry
Salary
Level 1: $60,200 - $90,200
Level 2: $72,400 - $108,600
