Overview of the Program
- In this role, you will have the opportunity to analyze and evaluate a wide range of credit and securitized products, providing critical insights and recommendations to support our investment decisions.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis and evaluation of various credit and securitized products, including mortgage-backed securities, commercial mortgage-backed securities, and asset-backed securities.
- Leverage an array of financial models and tools to assess risk and potential return for different types of securities.
- Provide timely and accurate insights and recommendations to support investment decisions made by portfolio managers and senior leadership.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and developments in the fixed income space, including changes in interest rates, credit spreads, and economic indicators.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to gather relevant information and ensure a comprehensive understanding of the overall investment landscape.
- Conduct in-depth credit analysis and due diligence on individual issuers and securities, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Aid in the development and implementation of investment strategies and portfolio creation.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the Securitized Products team.
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines and ensure all analysis and recommendations are in line with company policies and procedures.
- Seek opportunities to innovate processes and procedures and contribute to the growth and success of the firm.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous internship in a relevant professional experience in investments, finance, or data analysis.
- Prior experience in fixed income or structured products is a plus.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Demonstrated interest in fixed income markets and structured finance.
Base Salary Range
$100,000-$100,000
The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed here.
