What is the opportunity?
RBC Wealth Management provides students the opportunity to gain in-depth, hands-on experience while working and learning alongside our experienced professionals. Administrative Assistants help Advisor teams provide exceptional client experiences.
What will you do?
Coordinate and prepare meetings for Advisors with their clients/prospects.
Provide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to detail. Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary.
Respond to client inquiries (account transactions, requests for tax receipts, account reporting, etc.).
Assist the Advisor team with client onboarding and maintenance of existing client accounts.
Ensure accurate and timely updates of all necessary documentation in compliance with internal controls and industry regulatory requirements. Maintain complete and up-to-date client files within appropriate systems.
Support Advisor team and client through the Wealth Management process and maintain audit of Wealth Management Activities and priorities.
Provide support on assigned projects, conducting research, and sharing information with the team.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
High level of time management and organization skills
Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have
Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH)
Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures
Experience in the securities industry is an asset
Please note:
In order to be eligible for these student positions, you must either:
Be returning back to school after the work term end-date; or
If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully
