Job Description
As an Appraiser Intern with Cushman & Wakefield’s Valuation & Advisory team, you will gain meaningful exposure to the commercial real estate industry. This internship offers hands-on learning through direct involvement in property valuations, market analysis, and financial modeling, while working alongside some of the top professionals in the field.
As an Intern in V&A at C&W, you will:
- Assist in preparing real estate appraisals and consulting reports under supervision.
- Collect, verify, and analyze market data including sales and lease comparable, demographic data, and economic indicators
- Support valuation models and contribute to the analysis of income, cost, and sales comparison approaches
- Conduct property-specific research and assist with report writing
- Participate in property inspections and shadow senior appraisers as available
- Analyzing revenue and expense performance
- Developing cash flows utilizing discounted cash flow models
- Assist with administrative tasks and project organization
Education, Skills, and Experience
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
Computer proficiency (MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Self-starter, capable of maintaining a high energy level and being a team player
Interest in a career path to become an Appraiser

Excellent organization and time management skills
Analyze qualitative and quantitative information
Strong attention to detail
Hands-on team player who has a strong execution orientation
Proven ability to participate in and influence cross-functional teams
Ability to work well under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
Experience appraising commercial real estate- a plus
