Position Summary
SCM Summer intern will gain exposure to a fast paced manufactuing enviroment and gain an understanding of production planning processes.Suggest improvement to stakeholders to make SCM operation more efficient.
Role and Responsibilities
Gain understanding of Planning process (MAIN and SUB Line) and understand capacity for operations
Understand manufacturing process to suggest improvements in planning rule
Communication with senior leadership to understand the business's Supply Chain operation
Improve loading efficiency to reduce time loading and to decrease scheduling time to finish loading plan
Understand cross-cultural business and how to communicate with data

Skills and Qualifications
Education: Must be a rising/junior or rising/senior pursuing a four year degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Experience: Prior work and/or internship experience in an Engineering/Business field is ideal, but not required
Knowledge: Must have coursework in engineering studies, and/or a related science field
Skills: Computer Skills (Excel, Tableau and/or PowerBI or similar program)
Physical Requirements: All employees for all positions must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 lbs.
