We invite rising seniors, current seniors, or recent graduates (<1 year out of school) to apply for our summer internship. We are looking to hire interns across several disciplines, including our Creative Art Design team. The 10-week internship program runs from May 27th through August 1st. Real Chemistry is looking for driven, savvy game changers who are ready to dive into the trenches and make an immediate impact.
Role summary:
As a 21GRAMS Art Intern, you will shadow our Creative team and provide support where they most need it. You will work with a copywriter to generate and execute creative concepts from design through finished product. You will develop smart, single-minded ideas that are on strategy and learn to focus on the idea first, then the execution. You will maintain proper layout and conceptual execution throughout all phases of a campaign while exploring the captivating world of scientific discovery
Role & Responsibilities:

Understand Marketing Initiatives: Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, and target audience.

Collaborate with Creative Team: Cooperate with the rest of the creative team across different types of media.

Concept to Execution: Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines.

Creative Development: Develop a range of creative executions for each project and effectively collaborate with a copy partner to develop fresh, strategic, and innovative ideas across multiple platforms.

Design & Layout Skills: Create layouts and graphics in Adobe Suite (Sketch is a bonus) for assigned projects that are complementary to the tone and style of the brand

Hands-On Art Direction: Practice your design and comp skills in various mediums via hands-on art direction under the guidance of a mentor from the art department

Client Proposals & Creative Execution: Assist in client proposals, product creation, and creative execution.

Pitches & Campaigns: Help on pitches and campaigns for key clients.

Resource Coordination: Help find creative resources needed for photo/video shoots, in conjunction with the needs of the team.
