The Role

Are you a final year college student looking to break into Quant finance? Or have a background in STEM and considering a career change and want to understand more about how Quant teams work in large banks?

We are excited to be launching the CITI MQA APAC Mentorship program where you can receive one-to-one monthly guidance through a series of 1-hr mentoring sessions from Citi’s Markets Quantitative Analysis professionals and discover if a career within MQA is right for you.

Successful candidates will:

• Benefit from a 6-month structured mentoring program with CITI MQA Quant professionals that will build their knowledge of Citi and the workings of the Quant team.

• Enhance their understanding of the skills needed for a successful career in Quant Finance.

Eligibility Criteria:

Be in your last year of college (Undergrad/Master’s/PhD)  with a STEM discipline or within 1-2 years of completing a STEM qualification or a maximum of 3 years working experience in a STEM related field and looking for a career change.

Technical skills : at least 1 or more from C++, Python, SQL, R, Java, KDB/Q, Data Science, Statistics

Expectations:

Attend monthly 1-hr Zoom sessions with mentors

Share career aspirations and focus areas

Lead and take responsibility for own learning and development
