The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the carbon footprint report for Roche Panama in Scope 1 and 2. Collect, analyze, and report carbon emissions data. Identify areas for improvement based on the report results.

• Support the establishment and monitoring of a sustainable operation model with our 3PL. Collaborate on initiatives to improve energy efficiency and reduce GHG emissions.

• Assist in identifying and executing environmental projects to reduce the environmental impact across the 3 scopes.

• Provide support in the environmental sustainability pillar of the Health, Safety and Environment annual plan. Collaborate on the implementation of internal environmental initiatives.

• Plan and execute the communication strategy to raise awareness of environmental practices within the Central America and Caribbean affiliate (CA&C). Design educational and awareness materials for employees.

Who You Are

You are enrolled in Bachelor’s studies at a university in your final years, preferably in the field of Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship of 6 months and getting to know the health industry.

Required:

• Dedicated student in your last 2 years of career, with superior proven academic index.

• Fluent in English and Spanish.

• Ability to interact with different levels and teams internally and externally.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Clear sense of accountability and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities assigned.

• Self-learner, curiosity on how to manage different scenarios and options. Focused on the analysis and solution of problems.

Preferred:

• Knowledge and/or experience in Health, Safety & Environment and/or environmental sustainability.

Technical details:

• The start date for the internship is between 1st and 16th of July 2025.

• Duration (6 months), work term (full-time with flexibility to attend classes if you are a student).

• Location: Based in Panama City, Panama.

• Our team follows a hybrid work structure (minimum 3 days in the office).
