The Opportunity
Are you passionate about making a tangible impact on public health? Join us in driving innovation and sustainability in blood transfusion safety in Peru. As an intern, you will contribute to a high-impact project aimed at promoting voluntary blood donation and advancing the adoption of NAT (Nucleic Acid Testing) in blood banks. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience in healthcare advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications while contributing to Roche’s commitment to global health and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Support: Assist in the development and execution of a national digital and media campaign to raise awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation.

Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders to support the adoption of Nucleic Acid Testing (NAT) technology to improve transfusion safety.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams from communications, marketing, public affairs, and medical departments to ensure alignment across various channels and messaging.

Content Creation & Storytelling: Create engaging content for digital platforms (social media, blogs, email campaigns, etc.) that highlights the life-saving impact of blood donation and the importance of blood testing through NAT. Share real stories from donors, recipients, and healthcare professionals to inspire action and emphasize the critical role of blood donation in the health system.

Research & Analysis: Conduct research on best practices for blood donation campaigns, industry trends, and stakeholder feedback to inform strategic decisions.

Sustainability Initiatives: Gain exposure to Roche’s sustainability initiatives and explore how these efforts align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure).

Learning & Mentorship: Be mentored by industry experts and experience a dynamic learning environment to build your communication skills and knowledge in the healthcare industry.

Who You Are:
You are enrolled or have completed your Bachelor’s degree studies at a university, preferably in the field of Marketing or Communications within the last 12 months and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship of at least 3 months and getting to know the pharmaceutical industry.

A background in health sciences, marketing, communications, public health, or related fields (Bachelor’s degree preferred).

Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Eagerness to experiment, explore, and learn through hands-on experience in healthcare settings.

Proficiency in English and Spanish, with strong language skills in both written and spoken communication

Advanced digital skills, particularly in social media management, and familiarity with basic graphic design and visualization tools.

The start date for the internship is between 1st and 16th of July 2025.

Duration (3 months), work term (full-time with flexibility to attend classes if you are a student).

Location: Based in Lima, Peru.
