Deere & Company is seeking a Software Engineer in Johnston, IA with the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 4 years related experience. Required skills: Design, develop and implement rich front-end web user interfaces using HTML, CSS, ReactJS, and ES Javascript (4 yrs); Design and develop back-end APIs using Javacript or Java, implemented with a microservice architecture and deployed through an API Gateway (4 yrs); Provide production support for web applications to search logs and respond to incidents (4 yrs); Collaborate with multiple business stakeholders to understand requirements for customer facing web applications to provide information technology solutions (4 yrs). Up to 5% domestic travel required. Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite. 20% (1 day per week) remote work permitted.
