Deere & Company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II in Dubuque, IA with the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, a related field or foreign equivalent plus 5 years related experience. Required skills: Developing welding methods and procedures for construction and forestry products (3 yrs); Document and resolve safety and ergonomic issues for fabrication and weld stations (3 yrs); Review designed geometry of new parts, tools, and fixtures to ensure availability to be robotically welded and provide the correct manufacturing instructions to the weld team (5 yrs); Experience with fixture and tooling design to identify and design the tooling required for building the structures of all new construction and forestry products (3 yrs). Up to 10% domestic travel required.
