As a Java Developer, you’ll join a dynamic team pushing technical boundaries. You’ll work with a modern stack, including Java, GoLang, and Microservices, in an environment that prizes innovation and high-performance engineering.
The Role
We are looking for a talented Junior to Mid-Level Java Developer to join our Brighton-based team. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining the backend applications that power our global gaming portfolio. This is a role designed for someone who wants to code, learn, and see their work go live in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
• Develop & Innovate: Build and maintain high-quality Java applications while exploring microservices architecture and GoLang.
• Technical Problem Solving: Support Frontend and QA teams by resolving backend requests and troubleshooting complex logic issues.
• Certification & Simulation:Manage industry regulation procedures by preparing submission packs and running millions of simulations to ensure game integrity.
• Database Management: Optimize MySQL databases and JDBC queries to ensure peak application performance.
• Server Operations: Work within Debian-based server environments (CLI) to manage logs, processes, and cron jobs.
• Collaborate: Partner with framework engineers and cross-functional teams to design features that enhance our gaming platforms.
• Quality Assurance: Write clean, efficient, and testable code, participating in Agile rituals (Daily Stand-ups, Sprints, Retrospectives).

• Technical Foundation: Solid experience with Java and a strong understanding of RDBMS (MySQL).

Skills Required
- Solid experience with Java
