About The Role
We are seeking motivated and energetic individuals to join as a 1L Legal Intern in Summer 2026 to support the legal and advocacy initiatives aimed at protecting the legal interests of our company at regulatory agencies, court jurisdictions, and administrative law and public policy venues within the energy industry. To provide legal, policy, and compliance research and support for a myriad of matters, this person will engage with teams from the development, asset management, commercial operations, environmental, and safety functions within the company.
The intern will gain valuable insights into the dynamic business of battery storage, hands-on experience in a fast-growing industry, mentorship from experienced legal and policy professionals and networking opportunities with peers and industry leaders.

About The Role

- Support the legal and policy team in managing regulatory and administrative legal matters.

Who You Are
- Currently pursuing a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Strong research, writing and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in renewable energy and battery storage and related policies is a plus.

$30.00 per hour40-hour work week
This is a hybrid, 10-week long internship. Only candidates based in Pittsburgh, PA or San Francisco, CA will be considered.
