You will join a high-stakes financial operations project for a prominent UK-based entity. As a key support pillar for the Finance Director, your role bridges the gap between executive strategy and operational execution. You will be responsible for maintaining the financial health of both personal and corporate accounts, ensuring seamless coordination with UK-based stakeholders, banks, and accountants. This is a high-trust position requiring a blend of financial literacy, discretion, and the ability to navigate the complexities of international finance within a fast-paced environment.

🔍 Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Oversight: Own the day-to-day tracking of personal and company finances, including expense management, payment processing, and cash flow monitoring.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous organization of financial data across spreadsheets and specialized accounting tools to ensure 100% data integrity.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for UK accountants, banking institutions, and external financial partners.
  • Operational Support: Execute invoicing, bank reconciliations, and basic financial reporting to keep leadership informed.
  • Compliance & Deadlines: Proactively manage payment schedules, filing deadlines, and regulatory requirements to ensure zero slippage.
  • Process Optimization: Design and implement lightweight, scalable processes to improve the efficiency of financial operations.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and flag inconsistencies or financial risks proactively, providing solutions rather than just reporting problems.

  • Financial Literacy: Solid understanding of basic accounting concepts and comfort working extensively with numbers.
  • Advanced Organization: High attention to detail and a proven track record of managing multiple priorities without oversight.
  • Tool Proficiency: Expert-level command of Excel/Google Sheets; experience with digital accounting ecosystems.
  • Ownership Mentality: A "startup mindset" characterized by being hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented.
  • Remote Expertise: Experience working effectively in 100% remote environments with distributed teams.
