We’re seeking an experienced Profesional Manual QA Engineer (5+ years) to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of our web, mobile, and back-end systems. What You’ll Do
• Design and execute manual test plans, test cases, and scenarios for web, mobile, and back-end systems.
• Perform regression, smoke, and exploratory testing to uncover functional gaps and edge cases.
• Validate API and back-end functionality using Postman or Bruno.
• Ensure cross-browser, cross-device, and cross-platform compatibility for consistent user experiences.
• Write and execute SQL queries for data integrity verification.
• Document bugs with clear steps, logs, and evidence, and follow through on resolution with developers.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and UX teams to validate requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Provide structured feedback on usability, performance, and overall product quality.
Requisitos
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of manual QA testing experience with web and back-end systems.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and test design techniques.
• Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., QMetry, Zephyr, TestRail, JIRA).
• Skilled in exploratory testing, usability testing, and risk-based testing approaches.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to clearly explain issues.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize testing efforts based on release timelines.
• Exposure to Prompt Engineering
• Applied LLMs in their regular QA workflows and utilize tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor etc.
