The Mississippi Department of Finance & Administration (DFA), in collaboration with the Mississippi Management and Reporting System (MMRS), is seeking an experienced SAP Financial Consultant to provide long-term SAP system support and enhancement services. This role supports the state’s MAGIC SAP system and is a key part of the Finance team. The selected candidate will work remotely with DFA/MMRS resources to support the ongoing implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of the state’s SAP ECC financial modules, including FI, CO, FM, and GM.

• Support SAP ECC Financial modules (FI, CO, FM, GM) and related financial processes.

• Collaborate with DFA/MMRS personnel to implement solutions and troubleshoot system issues.

• Configure, test, and document SAP system enhancements and changes.

• Participate in cross-functional system integration initiatives.

• Assist in resolving operational and financial reporting issues.

Candidates must meet all of the following qualifications to be considered:

1. 8+ years of experience in SAP Finance ECC implementation and support.

2. 3+ years of experience with an SAP Finance ECC solution for a Public Sector client.

3. Functional expertise in the following ECC areas:

   • General Ledger (FI)

   • Funds Management (FM)

   • Controlling (CO)

   • Project Systems (PS)

   • Grants Management (GM)

• Experience supporting integration with CRM, Logistics, and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) modules.

• Experience conducting root cause analysis and issue resolution.

• Knowledge or experience with the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) and related reporting standards.
