136. Mobile Tech Lead

We’re looking for a Mobile Tech Lead to own the modernization of an existing Xamarin mobile application into React Native. You will lead the technical approach, guide the migration plan, and ensure feature parity, quality, security, and release readiness for both iOS and Android. This role is hands-on (architecture + coding) and requires strong collaboration with the client and an external India-based delivery team. We value engineers who move fast with AI-assisted development while maintaining high engineering standards.

Lead the Xamarin → React Native rewrite: run discovery, define target architecture, deliver parity features (account status, payments, calibration reminders, service center contact, lease actions, lockout reset, device help), and ship production releases with strong quality and observability.

• React Native (expert) building production apps: navigation, state management, forms, performance profiling, memory leaks, offline/online patterns, and release readiness.
• Xamarin experience OR proven framework-migration experience (e.g., legacy mobile → RN) with a clear approach to parity, incremental rollout, and risk control.
• iOS + Android fundamentals: debugging native issues, understanding app lifecycle, background tasks, deep links, push notifications, and store release processes. 
• API integration + reliability patterns: auth/session handling, network resiliency, retries/backoff, caching, secure local storage, and telemetry/analytics.
• Payments / billing workflows mindset (even if actual payments happen via backend/webview): strong security hygiene when dealing with account/billing flows that touch financial data.
• Security & privacy by design for user/financial/location data: encryption, secrets management, PII handling, consent, logging redaction, and “data deletion” flows where applicable.
• Quality engineering: automated testing strategy (unit + integration + E2E), regression automation for migration parity, and testable architecture.
• CI/CD for mobile: build pipelines, signing/certificates, environment configuration, release trains, and hotfix process.
• AI-assisted development (advanced, daily use): Uses agentic tools effectively (e.g., Claude Code / Gemini CLI / Codex CLI / Cursor / similar) for scaffolding, refactors, test generation, and code search—with strong review discipline (guards against hallucinations, security regressions, and subtle parity bugs).
• Can define “AI workflows” for the team: prompt patterns, task decomposition, code review checklists, and safe usage boundaries
• Advanced English level: C1 - C2

        •        Deep Xamarin/.NET mobile background (Xamarin.Forms, native bindings, dependency services) to accelerate the “old-to-new” mapping.
        •        Experience migrating authentication + account management apps (high sensitivity data, compliance pressure, heavy customer support workflows).
        •        Experience with in-app messaging / segmentation (store notes mention home-screen messaging based on customer information).  
        •        Observability tooling (Crashlytics/Sentry-like, log pipelines, feature flags) and A/B/rollout strategies for safe migration.
        •        Familiar with App Store / Google Play operational constraints: review pitfalls, privacy disclosures, release approvals, staged rollouts.
        •        Experience coordinating with external vendors (multi-team delivery, dependency management, shared architecture governance).
