Our Advanced Scientific Computing Division (ASC Division) at the Institute for Earth System Predictions (IESP), based in Lecce, is looking for an Administrative Support to the Division Manager. The required profile is a talented and enthusiastic individual, with the ability to recognize priorities and solve problems efficiently, responsible for supporting the Division Manager in: providing full administrative and financial support to project management, such as managing budgeting spreadsheets, purchasing procedures, monthly timesheets, preparation of administrative reports, mission management, collaboration with ASC researchers for administrative information collection, maintaining research awards financial accounts, etc.

ROLE
The Administrative Support reports to the ASC Division Manager and is responsible for supporting him in: providing full administrative and financial support to project management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Administrative Support will support the ASC Division Manager, with:
- Managing budgeting spreadsheets,
- Purchasing procedures,
- Monthly Timesheets,
- Administrative Reports,
- Mission management,
- Administrative information collection,
- etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Economics or equivalent subjects,
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the Administrative area,
- Very good knowledge of the English language,
- Accuracy and good analytical skills,
- Proficiency in basic computer skills (especially excellent knowledge of Excel) and accounting software (especially SAP),
- Management and organization of agendas and deadlines,
- Professional and pleasant personality with good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills,
- Interest in working in a multidisciplinary/international team,
- Able to work quickly, even under pressure: mature, detail-oriented and enterprising,
- Able to multitask and work independently and in a team.
DURATION, COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Please note that this opportunity will be issued both internally and externally.
- The Managers will be based in Lecce CMCC office.
- Contract and gross annual salary will be based on qualifications and working experience.
- Welfare package, for minimum 12 months contract.
- Flexible working time as per internal policies.
- Support during the immigration process, if needed.

Belonging to legally protected categories (ex L. 68/99) will constitute a preferential condition.

The Foundation Euro-Mediterranean Centre on Climate Change (CMCC) is a research centre on climate science and policy.
