Summary
We are looking for a 1031 Exchange Business Development leader to source new business for our 1031 QI, establishing and building long-term relationships with a robust portfolio of clients. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone that wants to continue to grow their business in an entrepreneurial environment that is supportive of your ability to bring business in. The role has direct access to the executive level and President of the Bank on down.
Leader1031 serves as a Qualified Intermediary (QI) for real estate investors seeking to sell and purchase property using the tax-deferred advantages of a Section 1031 exchange. These services provide greater integration and efficiencies for our commercial real estate clients, and Leader1031 is committed to providing the highest quality of service. The perfect complement to Leader1031, Leader Bank Digital Escrow is a completely digital solution for funding commercial escrow accounts, tracking security deposits, or managing your investment properties.
Responsibilities

  • Create business opportunities through self-sourcing clients suited for 1031 exchange and digital escrow services
  • Leverage networks, centers of influence, and business development acumen to acquire business and build meaningful relationships
  • Build a robust portfolio of national clients and manage the relationships until services are delivered and beyond
  • Work with clients on IRC Section 1031 tax-deferred exchanges and manage their own portfolio of transactions
  • Use deep industry knowledge to gain new business and ensure client satisfaction
  • Develop new relationships by providing seminars on IRC Section 1031 to attorneys and real estate professionals


Qualifications

  • 15+ years' experience in and industry knowledge of 1031 exchange business
  • 15+ years' experience in business development and relationship management, including gaining new deposit business
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong presentation skills
