We are seeking a senior Anaplan Developer/Modeler to join an established team supporting a large, complex Workforce Planning solution in a healthcare environment. This role focuses on hands-on improvement and optimization of existing Anaplan models rather than new platform builds.
The ideal candidate will quickly navigate sophisticated models, understand business planning logic, and deliver practical, performance-minded enhancements to ensure readiness for the next annual planning cycle.
Responsibilities- Assess existing Anaplan model logic, architecture, and performance to identify improvement opportunities
- Develop and implement targeted model enhancements that align with business planning requirements
- Optimize calculations, imports/exports, and data management processes to improve model scalability and runtime
- Troubleshoot and resolve design and performance issues created by prior implementation decisions
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate workforce planning requirements into efficient Anaplan solutions
- Validate changes to ensure accuracy, maintainability, and minimal disruption to downstream processes
- Document model changes, rationale, and operational procedures for handoff and ongoing support
- Support preparation and testing for the annual planning cycle and related high-volume planning activities
- 5+ years of hands-on Anaplan model-building experience within complex enterprise planning environments
- Proven experience developing, enhancing, troubleshooting, and optimizing existing Anaplan models
- Strong knowledge of Anaplan model architecture and performance optimization techniques
- Experience managing data within Anaplan, including imports/exports and data integration considerations
- Demonstrated ability to implement and optimize complex calculations and planning logic in Anaplan
- Ability to translate business planning requirements into efficient, scalable, and maintainable Anaplan model updates
- Comfortable working in high-volume, complex workforce planning environments and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
- Workforce Planning model experience
- Healthcare industry experience
Skills Required
- 5+ years of hands-on Anaplan model-building experience
- Proven experience developing, enhancing, troubleshooting, and optimizing existing Anaplan models
- Strong knowledge of Anaplan model architecture and performance optimization techniques
