Role Overview:

Selected candidate will provide expert technical leadership while exhibiting a high degree of competency and understanding of the core infrastructure technologies within the HAEA environment. Defines and maintains infrastructure architecture principles, policies and standards. Documents and develops knowledge of the company's existing IT architecture/infrastructure, technology and security portfolio. Acts as an advocate for ensuring infrastructure and security standards align with the overall enterprise architecture principles and policies. Serves as the infrastructure architect in the analysis, design and planning phases of IT projects.
Develops and implements methods to measure and report infrastructure performance, reliability and availability as it relates to Key Performance Indexes.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document and develop existing infrastructure architecture and technology portfolio
  • Develop and manage infrastructure plan to meet the company's goals
  • Facilitate the initiation of key strategic infrastructure initiatives and recommend modifications as appropriate
  • Translate vendor specifications into system designs while also incorporating business requirements
  • Collaborate with end users and senior management to define business requirements and gain consensus for infrastructure strategies
  • Apply technical knowledge to LAN, SAN/storage architectures, Unix/AIX/Linux/Solaris Server,
    Virtualization and Security for IT Technology initiatives
  • Manage infrastructure projects to deliver on-time, on-budget and according to client specification
  • Provide architectural consulting expertise, direction and assistance to IT management and staff
  • Manage and participate in architectural review board process
  • Review and evaluate potential impact of system modifications or enhancements #Maintain
    expertise in the area of architecture, security, industry trends, strategies, and products to ensure effective and efficient use of assets
  • CBU specific technologies - develop understanding of core industry concepts and business processes, maintain working knowledge of CBU specific technologies
  • Assist in determining security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements, researching information security standards, studying proposed architecture/platform,
    identifying integration issues, and preparing cost estimates
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of infrastructure/security development efforts and incorporate the adopted technologies into standards #Recommend technologies which will increase performance, reliability, security, cost effectiveness, and infrastructure
    flexibility utilizing organization standards
  • Drives development and enhancement of vendor technologies, strategies and roadmaps #Identify
    process improvement, prepare policy and procedures

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the field of business, computers, information systems or related degree.
  • 7+ years infrastructure/capacity planning, data center planning, and infrastructure support roles.
  • 5+ years developing infrastructure plans and projects for complex organizations including Data Center moves, SAN and Server refreshes, and infrastructure rationalization
  • Technical knowledge of backup solutions, Windows Server, Networking (Cisco), VOIP, Citrix, IIS,
    Exchange, Active Directory, SQL Server, Oracle Database, Virtualization and Disaster Recovery a plus
  • Strong technical knowledge of SAN/storage architectures, Unix/AIX/Linux/Solaris Server, and security architecture and tools
  • Deep understanding of network concepts such as data center switches
  • TOGAF certification preferred, other architecture certifications a plus
  • ITIL v3 certification preferred
  • Information security/assurance certifications are a plus

Salary Range: $145,000 - $160,000
