What You'll Be Doing
- Safely operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to customer job sites in a timely manner.
- Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections to maintain safe operating conditions.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and plant personnel to coordinate deliveries.
- Operate delivery equipment and manage concrete placement while following established procedures.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and uphold safety, quality, and customer service standards.
What Are We Looking For
- Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and follow all applicable traffic and safety regulations.
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service excellence.
- Capability to perform vehicle inspections, basic equipment care, and routine documentation.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or ability to meet licensing requirements for the position.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
What We Offer
- $20.60 to $25.67 per hour
- Candidates with one year or more of RMC experience are eligible for a $1,500 sign-on bonus, payable after 90 days of successful employment.
