Your role and responsibilities
Responsible for digital architect and solution development into Energy Distribution of Smart Building, focus on Smart MCB, RCD, SPD, Energy Efficiency devices and its system, by integrating the industry characteristics of smart buildings and infrastructure and cutting-edge digital technologies.
The work model for the role is: onsite
This role is contributing to the Smart Building division in China.
You will be mainly accountable for:

• Organize research on the latest technical development direction and technical architecture of the industry, guide core architecture design, technology selection, development iteration and performance optimization, and output the cloud-platform-edge-end whole solution and enterprise principle for Smart Building system & products.
• Responsible for developing and implementing medium to long-term technology roadmaps for Energy Distribution digital products and systems.
• Leading and participating in the field of smart device and core technical issues solve and organizing the key technical requirement iteration. Develop product technical requirements and verification planning which according to the corresponding needs and standard requirements
• Responsible for the training of digital technical personnel, and the establishment of scientific and effective digital technical personnel training and development system

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor degree or above, major in IoT, electronic or automatic technology related professional. Master’s degree or above, PhD preferred. Major in electronics, computer science, software engineering, communication or automatic technology related.
• +10 years’ experience in cloud solution architecture in power/distribution industry. Possess the ability to build cloud (data ingestion, data processing, data storage and analysis services), Internet of Things (IoT) (device management and connection), as well as firmware system integration.
• Good understanding in relevant standards and be capable of independently designing system and architecture solutions. Be familiar with Cyber Security requirements and implementation.
• Protocols and Communication Technologies: In-depth understanding of IoT protocols with experience in protocol development or integration. Familiar with industrial communication methods such as TCP/IP and serial communication, and knowledgeable about protocols like Modbus and MQTTs.
• Software Development Skills: Experience in complete cross-platform desktop application development. Proficient in front-end technology stack (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5), familiar with frameworks like React and Vue. Familiar with microservices architecture design, and proficient in technologies like Spring Cloud, Docker/Kubernetes. Backend development capabilities (such as Node.js, Java, Python) and familiar with database design (MySQL/PostgreSQL/time-series databases).
• Knowledge of Energy Management Systems (EMS), building energy efficiency analysis, and terminal distribution protection.
• Ability to communicate in English, both written and oral. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Good teamwork spirit and willingness to contribute to the team’s success. Capable of managing changes and multi-tasks during the development phase. To adapt to business trip
