Marking the latest new arrival on the North Texas tech scene, Tel Aviv network automation provider BackBox announced Tuesday it will open its new U.S. headquarters in Dallas. The new headquarters is BackBox’s second globally and will support the company’s expansion plans for both customer and talent sourcing.
BackBox offers network automation, security and management solutions to enterprises with complex systems. Its product simplifies network management, streamlining complex tasks for more efficient workflows. The network management platform also offers one-click recovery and automates and secures multi-vendor environments.
As more enterprises switch to a hybrid working model, the demand for simple yet secure network management is high. BackBox says it works with more than 180 partners including CheckPoint, Cisco, F5 and Palo Alto Networks to support over 500 types of software and devices.
“We are looking forward to our Dallas headquarters opening up new doors for talent sourcing in one of the biggest tech hubs in the U.S.,” BackBox CEO Andrew Kahl said in a statement. “BackBox is in an accelerated growth period, and having dual headquarters in the U.S. and EMEA positions us to meet the heightened market demand and support our global customer base.”
The new headquarters announcement comes after significant growth. In the past year, BackBox saw 40 percent revenue growth, 20 percent book growth, and a customer retention of over 95 percent. The company’s team also experienced a 63 percent growth rate with more hires coming soon.
BackBox has been on a hiring spree since its $32 million Series A last year. The company has already used some of those funds to hire new leadership such as Pete Morrison as vice president of sales, Thierry Guenoun as EMEA regional sales director, and Jonathan Moore as vice president of marketing.
Currently the company has six positions open across departments, most of which are authorized for remote working.
