Teams at Zip

Lead and scale a team of FTEs and contractors to deliver Zip's AI products, drive customer adoption, own data and integration partner evaluations, ensure platform quality and reliability, manage delivery throughput from planning to deployment, develop automation/internal tools to reduce manual work, and partner with AI engineering, product, and customer success to resolve blockers and measure performance.

Build reliable, scalable software products for Zip’s enterprise procurement platform. Responsibilities include designing frontend applications and components, developing APIs, writing maintainable code, collaborating with product and customer-facing teams, understanding requirements, and shipping customer-facing features. The role offers mentorship while requiring engineers to independently scope and solve complex technical challenges.

Own engineering programs that improve release execution, software quality, reliability, and delivery consistency. Responsibilities include managing monthly feature releases, improving feature-flag lifecycles, coordinating incident and bug follow-up, tracking performance regressions, resolving cross-team engineering dependencies, and overseeing technical vendor operations. The role requires strong systems thinking, process discipline, engineering fluency, and cross-functional accountability without requiring hands-on coding.
