Leads the design, development, and delivery of scalable automation solutions for laboratory and scientific workflows. Responsibilities include software architecture, Python and AWS development, APIs, microservices, data pipelines, system integrations, workflow orchestration, testing, CI/CD, production support, and regulatory compliance. The role mentors engineers, establishes reusable frameworks, manages technical delivery and dependencies, and serves as a client-facing technical lead across distributed teams.

Leads a 2026 proof-of-concept and planning initiative to migrate on-premise HPC environments to AWS. Owns integrated project delivery, stage-gate governance, risk management, workflow mapping, data migration planning, stakeholder alignment, executive communications, and funding proposals. Partners with technical, research, security, engineering, and leadership teams to define cloud architecture requirements, resolve dependencies, and prepare the program for full-scale implementation.
