Leads Zepz’s global financial crime product strategy across AML, sanctions, fraud controls, and typology analysis. Owns the roadmap, OKRs, KPIs, regulatory outcomes, vendor partnerships, and budget planning while reducing false positives and customer friction. Partners with Engineering, Product, Compliance, and Customer Operations, engages regulators, evaluates AI/ML solutions, and leads transformation and control-maturity initiatives. Coaches senior managers while contributing hands-on as a player-coach.

The Senior Marketing Data Scientist will measure and optimize marketing performance using marketing mix modeling, attribution, customer lifetime value analysis, experimentation, and causal inference. Responsibilities include building scalable data pipelines, automating model deployment and monitoring, creating dashboards, analyzing campaigns, and communicating insights to executives. The role requires strong Python and SQL skills, experience with open-source marketing mix models, marketing analytics expertise, and the ability to lead projects independently.

Respond to and investigate security incidents, manage threat and vulnerability programs, operate SIEM and EDR tooling, develop incident response runbooks, automate security workflows, lead phishing and security awareness campaigns, and support purple team exercises. The role also owns vulnerability reporting, remediation metrics, stakeholder communication, and continuous improvement of security operations.

Manages the full lifecycle of internal and external outsourcing arrangements for Zepz’s Belgium entity. Responsibilities include maintaining outsourcing and DORA registers, conducting provider due diligence, monitoring SLAs and KPIs, ensuring NBB and EBA regulatory compliance, managing outsourcing risks and corrective actions, reviewing incident analyses, and supporting the local outsourcing governance committee.

Leads risk and compliance for Zepz’s Belgian operations as an NBB-approved Fit and Proper executive. Builds the local second-line risk framework, oversees regulatory compliance, AML/CFT, ICT and outsourcing risk, safeguarding controls, and financial crime governance. Conducts independent risk assessments and control testing, manages the AMLCO, maintains licensing and regulatory records, and reports directly to executive management, the Audit and Risk Committee, and the Board.

Supports second-line risk and compliance activities for the Belgian entity, including control testing, operational and ICT risk oversight, DORA compliance, outsourcing, safeguarding, remediation tracking, regulatory reporting, policy ownership, regulatory horizon scanning, consumer protection, conduct reviews, and whistleblower or ML/TF investigations.

Lead Zepz’s Belgium administration and finance function as an NBB-approved executive. Build an autonomous local operating model, oversee governance and regulatory reporting, manage safeguarding reconciliations and financial administration, coordinate audits, govern outsourcing and vendors, and direct office, HR administration, IT administration, procurement, policies, and business continuity. The role requires strong operational leadership, Belgian regulatory knowledge, and practical, responsible use of AI tools.

Leads Zepz’s enterprise AML/CFT framework, including risk assessments, control oversight, transaction analysis, suspicious activity reporting to CTIF-CFI, regulatory engagement, monitoring, governance reporting, staff training, and management of AML Analysts. Advises executives and the Board on financial crime risks, high-risk relationships, remediation, and resource needs while maintaining statutory independence.

Monitor customer activity for potential financial crime, investigate suspicious behavior, conduct AML, fraud, KYC, screening, and due diligence reviews, and escalate concerns appropriately. Prepare suspicious activity narratives, support enhanced due diligence and reputational risk investigations, and assist with Financial Crime Operations projects. The role requires strong analytical, investigative, communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills, familiarity with Excel and AML/KYC guidelines, English fluency, schedule flexibility, and onsite work.

Build and operate high-traffic backend services for Universal Wallet, supporting fiat and stablecoin deposits, withdrawals, balances, integrations, and settlement. Develop across Python and Kotlin/Java stacks, design APIs and event-driven systems, improve architecture and observability, review code, and participate in on-call production support. Collaborate asynchronously across teams, influence technical decisions, and deliver reliable financial infrastructure.

Manage a team of financial crime analysts conducting KYC, fraud, AML, and CTF reviews. Oversee staffing, performance, quality, KPIs, regulatory compliance, process improvements, and stakeholder collaboration. Use data-driven insights to enhance operational effectiveness, support new processes and systems, coach team members, and ensure customer and company objectives are met. The role also requires practical AI-tool usage, strong AI literacy, responsible handling of sensitive data, and experience in compliance or fraud within international banking or payments.

Own and scale global paid acquisition across WorldRemit and Sendwave, managing multi-million-pound budgets and a team of five. Set channel strategy, optimize customer acquisition and revenue performance, lead experimentation, oversee attribution and measurement, and identify growth opportunities. Partner with Product, CRM, Data Science, Brand, Finance, Legal, and agencies to improve CAC, ROAS, LTV:CAC, and campaign effectiveness across markets.

Owns data quality, governance, lineage, domain data products, fraud and financial crime models, production performance, monitoring, and retraining. Partners with engineering, central data, risk, compliance, and legal teams, influences upstream data producers, manages incidents, and builds high-performing teams while driving strategy reported to executives and the board.

Leads a 25+ person organization of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and analytics engineers across Identity and Financial Crime. Owns data quality, governance, lineage, observability, fraud and financial-crime models, production performance, monitoring, retraining, and domain data products. Partners with engineering, product, risk, compliance, legal, and central data teams; influences upstream teams, develops managers and senior ICs, handles incidents, and scales hiring and technical strategy.

Manage globally distributed Corporate IT operations and engineering teams supporting end-user computing, collaboration tools, IAM, access controls, and service desk functions. Establish operational best practices, monitor KPIs, optimize joiner-mover-leaver processes, manage suppliers and IT costs, support compliance, and drive automation and technology adoption. Partner with Data, Engineering, Product, Brand, Finance, and Compliance while measuring incremental transactions, revenue, costs, margin, and retention.
