Design, scale, and maintain robust machine learning systems for AI-powered physical machines. Help define coding standards and the technology stack, work across software and hardware, solve ambiguous problems, and mentor new hires. Relevant work may include object recognition, reinforcement learning, and deep neural networks in a fast-growing AI and robotics startup.

Own end-to-end technical recruiting, including sourcing candidates, managing hiring outcomes, improving recruiting processes, building long-term talent pipelines, and partnering with Engineering. This is the first recruiting team member and requires independent work in an early-stage AI and robotics startup. The role is based in-office in San Mateo, California.
