As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you will design and implement software solutions using Kotlin and TypeScript with React, focusing on optimizing transport planning at Zalando. Responsibilities include developing features, collaborating with teams, and improving the code base.

Design and scale learning programs for Zalando’s technology organization, including onboarding and capability-building initiatives. Assess learning needs, define success metrics, evaluate impact, and use AI and learning platforms to improve offerings. Partner with senior tech leaders and subject matter experts on instructional design, build a strong learning culture, and coordinate communications, conferences, and community events that encourage knowledge sharing and engagement.

Lead applied science strategy for Search, build and manage teams of applied scientists and ML engineers, develop state-of-the-art query understanding, retrieval, ranking, and personalization models, drive ML platform and experimentation, establish model governance and evaluation, and align technical roadmap with business outcomes.
