Lead the architecture and evolution of Lounge by Zalando’s scalable core platform, growth systems, data infrastructure, and AI platforms. Drive cross-team engineering initiatives, event-driven microservices, high-throughput pipelines, and production-ready GenAI solutions. Mentor senior engineers, establish architectural standards, author decision records, and guide technical strategy across teams. Partner with project management on complex business and product initiatives while promoting reliable, secure, and modern engineering practices.

Own end-to-end development of scalable Boards features, from database and backend services through responsive web interfaces. Design microservices, APIs, and data flows; collaborate with product, design, stakeholders, and applied science teams; support experimentation and A/B testing; improve CI/CD, testing, performance, observability, and operational excellence; and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.

Lead the growth product organization for Lounge by Zalando, owning acquisition, registration, activation, retention, customer communications, and lifetime value. Manage Product Managers and partner with Engineering, Design, and Analytics leaders across multiple squads. Drive experimentation, funnel optimization, MarTech and CDP platform strategy, AI/ML personalization, and executive stakeholder alignment.
